The Moor EP

Venice Italy’s The Moor release a quick hitting 5 song self titled EP to whet appetites with their progressive metal meets alternative outlook. The alternative side comes out with guitarist Enrico Longhin’s morose melodies, while the riffing has aspects of 70’s rock and heavier death overtones on songs like “Antikythera” and “Covered”. Shorter, compact songs (the longest “The Road” doesn’t even hit the 4:30 mark) give the listener an all killer, no filler feel to the material.

Fans of current Dream Theater with a touch of the Swedish melodic death aspect and 70’s riff rock will enjoy The Moor.
