Anialator_RiseToSupremacy.jpgClassic thrash metal in the vein of old Slayer and Kreator with modern sound, great solo work, distortion, and doomsday yet intelligent lyrics without need for profanity, always a bonus in my book. Every track has something different to offer, with various pace and ideas packed into one song that could fill up an entire album.

"Rise Again" recalls Hatebreed's debut and "Thick Skinned" Testament, but in Anialator's case familiarity is far from breeding contempt, and I especially love the closing "Black" sporting a convoluted distorted riff that sounds awfully difficult to reproduce.

"Rise to Supremacy" is perfect but I wonder if the guys can make it this good for more than 5 songs Hopefully we won't have to wait long to find out.
